It stands for the North American Aerospace Defence Command, and these are the people constantly watching the skies of the United States and Canada, providing advanced warning of impending missile and air attack.

But did you know that the technicians of NORAD also use their considerable talent to track the flight of Santa Claus? On December 24, these professional sky trackers, trained to spot any unusual flying objects, have their sights on the Santa entourage and are able to provide precise flight path information.
